MEDIA 5 presents new developments at CAPER 2014.
Based on technological innovation and complementation agreements, the company will present developments in their BROADCAST products and new solutions, that the company has developed to meet the requirements of its customers throughout the region, will be shown.
Developments on solutions and integrations to other factories of the market, such as Matrox®, NewTek® and ENPS® of Associated Press® and new features and functions of the company lines are also shown.
Regarding it line of VIDEO SERVERS (VIDEO 5 MF® and VIDEO 5 Net IP®), one of the most important changes to be presented concerns the possibility of install user terminals in Windows® platforms, MAC OSX® platforms or Android® platforms, i.e. from now it will be possible to control the system from any platform natively and optimizing the equipment available in the network.
With Associated Press®, MEDIA 5 signed an agreement for ENPS® integration (news management system). This new development can control all the equipment that our company manufactures, Character Generators, Video Servers and Video Recording, fully automatically by MOS protocol.
The compatibility of it equipment with MOS protocol allows the user to integrate them to any broadcast workflow.
About the integration of it products with NewTek®, the company developed a new product line that connect with TriCaster® equipment by networks, thus achieving more economic solutions. In the new version, the equipment have a second output allowing to send the same content to two TriCaster® equipment, where you want to have redundancy.
Concerning the CG 5 HD®, CG 5 MTX® and CG 5 Net IP® equipment, will be presented the new Plug In “CAPTURE SCREEN” which allows the capture and display of videos and images from a remote computer; “SOCIAL NETWORKS” dedicated to handling Social Networks achieving a quick and simple interaction; and “SPORT” designed to optimize the work in sports broadcasting achieving faster graphics emissions. Also, this new version has added a warning system, “Warning”, which warns of problems in the videos loaded prior to being broadcasted.
The line of our RECORDING equipment have a new look, specifically adapted to live work, with the possibility of using more shortcuts for various commands and more intuitive screens. It also offers the possibility to export files directly to the video server, facilitating the work of any channel or producer. The new version has Time Shifting function by network and enables real-time playback, of what is being recorded, in our video server VIDEO 5®.
With products for recording, play out, character generation, storage and management, MEDIA 5 achieved a complete line of equipment to meet any need or requirement of the client.
